The register of deaths within Kilmihil parish began in 1941. All the early entries were written by Father Pat O’Connor the Curate who incidentally was responsible for the formation of Kilmihil athletic club in 1942. The entries include date of death , the parents of the deceased and the time and place of burial. In recent years some of the priests have not been so careful and many bits of information were omitted. We have tried to fill in as many gaps as possible but inevitably we have not been able to get them all in. We hope that if you can fill in any of the gaps you will send them to us and we will do the corrections.
