The Intermediate ladies began their league campaign 3 weeks ago with a marginal loss to Liscannor. However we had a comprehensive victory over. Clooney-Quinn. The girls will face Doora-Barefield in the next round.

The U10s and U12s have commenced training on Tuesday evenings in the community centre. Further information can be obtained from Marie Egan

The U16s commence their league campaign this Wednesday evening the 28th march against Clooney-Quinn in the Clooney-Quinn GAA grounds at 6.30

Coolmeen 2-7, Kilmihil 0-8. The result of the intermediate final played in Kilmihil on Saturday last. It was a close match with the teams level until the last 10 minutes when Coolmeen scored 1-2 without reply.

The Nicola Callinan Memorial U.10 fun blitz was held in the GAA grounds on sat last the 23rd September! Teams from Kilmihil, Cooraclare, Doonbeg/O’Curry’s and Kilmurry Ibrickane took part, Yvonne Callinan presented the
Nicola Callinan Memorial Trophy to the Doonbeg/O Curry’s captain who won the tournament!

The U.14 ladies were narrowly defeated by the Banner on Saturday last also!! however the girls are still in with a chance as they are through to a 3 way play off

The Intermediate Ladies will travel to Dublin this weekend to take part in the All Ireland mini 7’s competition which will take place in Portmarnock. The Intermediate Championship final will be played on the 7th October against Coolmeen. Venue and details are yet to be decided!

The intermediate team overcame Liscannor on Friday evening with a score of 4.13 to 1.5 ! The girls have now reached the championship final which will be played on the weekend of the 7th of October

The intermediate ladies continued their winning form this weekend with wins over West Clare Gales 2.12 to 0.8 and Wolfe Tones 3.14. to 3.4 ! The girls are now almost guaranteed a place in the championship final with just one
game remaining against Liscannor and a clean sheet of 5 wins

The Intermediate team continued their winning form with an easy win over Shannon Gaels on Friday Last! The score was 2-20 to 0-5 . The girls play Doora Barefield in the 3rd round of the championship on Sunday next at
6pm. Venue not known as of yet!

Our junior ladies continued their great success when they defeated Coolmeen in the Intermediate championship on Sunday last. The score was 1-15 to 2-6. The now play Liscannor on Sunday next

The Kilmihil Junior ladies won the County junior championship on Sunday last. Well done girls. The difference in class was shown by the winning score of 5-12 to 1-6. There was an outstanding display by Una Downes and she was ably helped by Fiona O’Neill, Fiona Normoyle, Rose Marie Currane, Orla Keane and the Considine Sisters.

The team will now take part in the Intermediate championship. They play Coolmeen in Coolmeen on Sunday next, August 6th

The Clare under 14 girls football team has reached the all Ireland final. Congratulations to Miriam Frawley, Deirdre Waters and Ailish Considine who are part of the panel.  The final will be played in Portumna, Co. Galway against Limerick on Saturday next August 5th at 2.30 pm. Best of luck to our girls.

Kilmihil under 12 girls play Cooraclare in Cooraclare in the County Final on Friday evening at 5.45pm. To get to the final the team has beaten, Burren Gaels, Cooraclare, Western Gaels and the Banner. Good luck to the team.

The junior ladies had another victory on Saturday evening when they overcame Kilmurry Ibrickane on a score line of 1-14 to 1-6.

The U-16 girls defeated Coolmeen in their opening game of the season

The ladies Junior team will play their first Competitive game for three years. on Sunday April 30th against Killaloe at 6.30pm in Roslevan.

The AGM of Kilmihil ladies football club was held recently. It was decided to have an adult team this year. There was no adult team for three years. Training has now commenced and will continue on Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
