Kilmihil sports people have certainly been hitting the headlines recently. Firstly the Intermediate men’s team won the County championship and have been promoted to senior level for next year.
Then our lady footballers having won the Clare county championship have gone to brilliantly win the Munster Championship. Well done girls.
In Munster cross country championships in Cashel. Kilmihil Athletic club had great success with Ian Slobody winning the Gold medal boys under 14, and Laura Egan winning the bronze in girls under 14. Ian, Laura with Roisin Looney, Sharon Egan and Aoife O’Gorman all one medals with Clare teams. The have now qualified for the National finals in Tramore on November 26th.
