To achieve 50 years of marriage is a rare and wonderful occasion and we congratulate two couples from the parish who have achieved this . Pat Joe O’Grady Cahircanivan and Nancy Duggan, Clonakilla went up the aisle on October 21st 1958. a month later P. J. Greene , Ballydineen and Bridie O’Sullivan, Knockalough did the same on November 19th. Thankfully they are still together and celebrated the occasion with their children and grandchildren. We wish them continued good health and happiness.
