Would you believe it? In the first draw of the revamped parish lotto. the jackpot was won. Congratulations to Paul Cussen from the village who scooped the first prize of €10000. Other winners were Dawn Choppin, James Doohan, Mai O’Halloran, Patsy Moloney, Helen Considine and Fr Peter O’Loughlin. Next weeks jackpot is €5000.

The parish lotto has been running for many years and has raised much revenue for the GAA Club and for parish improvements. The committee has decided to change the format. From now on letters will be used instead of numbers. The new minimum jackpot will be  €5000 . To begin the changes the first lotto prize will be €10000. Best of luck to everyone.
