Kilmihil Festival of fun will go ahead again on the August weekend. This will be the 9th year of the festival and it is one of the most popular festivals in Clare. Hopefully the weather will be kind for what has been a very successful and enjoyable weekend.

The death has occurred of Mai Ryan of Castlepark aged 97. She was formerly Mai Dillon from Clonreddan. Her husband Gerard died in 1989. We offer our sympathy to her family, neighbours and friends.

Congratulations to Enda O’Halloran, Ballydineen (son of Kevin and Josephine)  who married Mandy Barrett from Cork at St. Michael’s Church, Kilmihil on June 26th. We wish them long life, good health and happiness.
