Kilmihil Festival of fun will go ahead again on the August weekend. This will be the 9th year of the festival and it is one of the most popular festivals in Clare. Hopefully the weather will be kind for what has been a very successful and enjoyable weekend.
The death has occurred of Mai Ryan of Castlepark aged 97. She was formerly Mai Dillon from Clonreddan. Her husband Gerard died in 1989. We offer our sympathy to her family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Pat Joe O’Grady, Cahircanivan. He was aged 88 years. He is survived by his his wife Nancy(Duggan) and family, Gerard, Brigid, Marion, Sheila and grandchildren. We offer our sympathy to his family and friends.
The death has occurred of Mick Collins, Leitrim. He was aged 83 years. He is survived by his wife Kitty(Carey), daughter Angela and grandson Brian. Our sympathy goes to his family.

The death has also occurred of Ollie Cunningham nee Keane, Knockalough at aged 87. She was relict of Martin Cunningham who died in 1972. We offer our sympathy to her family and friends.
The death has occurred of Pak Monaghan, Lackwest aged 84. A native of Lissycasey he came to Kilmihil in 1954 and married Nonie Crowe, Lacken. Nonie died in 1992. They are buried in Kilmihil. We offer our sympathy to his relatives and friends.
